She is one of the most notorious of Hugh Hefners Playmate-lovers. She became the de facto first lady of the Chicago Playboy Mansion at nearly the same time that Hefner was also in a serious relationship with Barbi Benton, who was ensconced in Los Angeles at the Playboy Mansion West. Eventually Hefner was found out and both relationships ended by 1976.
In 1998 publisher Larry Flynt included explicit photos of Christy and Hefner having sex in the August issue of Hustler magazine.
